Find your course in India

Listings describe programs offered at established Indian institutions. Fees, seats and deadlines are confirmed against the official prospectus for your intake before you apply — nothing here is a partnership claim.

Choose your pathway

Medical first — but never medical only

Health programs lead our catalogue because that is where demand — and scholarship funding — is strongest. Engineering and a wide range of other degrees run through the same careful application process.

Before you commit to a medical degree: recognition, internship and licensing rules for practising medicine differ by country and change over time. We show you the official sources — the institution, India's National Medical Commission, and your home country's regulator — and confirm the current position with you before you apply. We never guarantee licensing or employment outcomes.

Scholarships — high priority

Scholarships of up to 100%, explained honestly

Indian universities and government schemes offer real funding for international students — merit awards, entrance scholarships and fee waivers that can reach 100% of tuition for the strongest applicants. Here is how they actually work.

Merit-based
Up to 100%

University merit scholarships

Awarded on your school-leaving or entrance results. The highest bands — up to full tuition — go to top scorers and are usually renewed only if you maintain the required grades each year. Typically covers tuition only; hostel, food, insurance and travel are normally excluded.

Entrance-based
25% – 100%

Entrance & scholarship tests

Many private universities run their own scholarship entrance tests or accept national exam scores, with fee waivers banded by rank. Your band is fixed by your result — nobody can promise you a band before you sit the test.

Government
Varies by scheme

Government of India schemes

India's Study in India programme and ICCR scholarship schemes support students from partner countries, sometimes covering tuition and living costs. Eligibility is country- and scheme-specific, places are limited, and deadlines are strict.

Subject-specific
Program-dependent

Health & STEM awards

Some institutions discount specific health and technology programs to build their cohorts. Availability changes by intake, so we verify the current terms with the institution before we quote any figure to you.

The NextHorizon scholarship promise: we will only ever quote a scholarship figure that we can trace to an official university or government source for your intake, and we will show you what it covers, what it excludes, the grades needed to keep it, and the deadline. If a listing cannot be verified, it does not get published — and no student is ever guaranteed a 100% award.

Check your scholarship eligibility

Answer three questions for an instant, honest indication of which scholarship routes are worth exploring. This is guidance, not an award decision — your advisor confirms the real position against official criteria.

Study in India

Why students choose India

India trains a large share of the world's doctors and engineers, teaches in English, and — even before scholarships — typically costs far less than the UK, US or Australia. It is also a demanding choice: standards, cities and climates vary widely, which is exactly why verified, institution-by-institution advice matters.

What it costs — the honest picture

Your budget has two parts, and we keep them separate in every quote:

  • University tuition — set by the institution, varies hugely between government and private colleges, and is paid to the university, not to us.
  • Living costs — hostel or private housing, food, local transport, insurance and personal costs. Most students live on campus in their first year.
  • One-off costs — application fees, visa fees, medical checks, flights and initial settlement.

Because fees change by intake, we confirm the exact current figures from the official prospectus before you pay anything — and put them in writing in your offer summary.

NextHorizon charges a transparent consultancy fee for its services, agreed with you in writing before work begins. University tuition and third-party charges are always separate, and refund terms are stated before you pay.

Student visa guidance

Most international students enter India on a Student Visa issued against a confirmed university admission. We prepare your document checklist and timelines, but applications are made by you to the Indian mission in your country, and approval can never be guaranteed by any consultancy.

Pre-departure checklist

  • Offer accepted & tuition arranged Deposit paid to the university; receipt kept safe.
  • Visa granted & passport valid Passport valid well beyond your course start date.
  • Accommodation confirmed Hostel or approved housing for at least the first term.
  • Insurance & health requirements Cover arranged as your university and visa require.
  • Flights & arrival plan Airport pickup and first-night plan agreed before you travel.

About NextHorizon

A consultancy built on verified information

NextHorizon Study Abroad Consultancy exists for one reason: students in our region deserve the same quality of advice about studying in India that agencies in Delhi or Mumbai give — accurate course information, honest scholarship guidance, and a process with no surprises.

Our specialization is medical and health education — MBBS, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy and allied health — with engineering and other programs fully supported. We check every course and scholarship against its official source before we recommend it, we put fees and conditions in writing, and we tell you plainly when a goal is not realistic.

What we will never do: guarantee an admission, a scholarship, a visa, or a medical licence. Those decisions belong to universities, scholarship panels, embassies and regulators — our job is to give you the strongest honest application and the clearest possible picture at every step.

Our service commitments

  • Every scholarship figure traceable to an official source for your intake.
  • Consultancy fees agreed in writing before work starts — tuition always paid to the university.
  • One student record, one advisor: your applications, documents and deadlines tracked in a single place.
  • Status updates at every stage, including when the news is not what you hoped.
  • Your documents handled privately and shared only with institutions you approve.
  • Support that continues after you land — accommodation, arrival and settling in.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is a 100% scholarship really possible?
Yes — for a small number of students. Top merit bands and some government schemes can cover 100% of tuition, and occasionally more. They are competitive, grade-dependent and often need to be re-earned each year. Anyone who guarantees you one before seeing your results is not being straight with you. Use our eligibility checker above, then let an advisor verify the current terms.
Can I study MBBS in India as an international student?
Yes. International students are admitted to MBBS programs at many Indian institutions, generally needing strong science grades (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in secondary school and English-medium instruction. Seats for international students are limited and rules can change — we confirm the current requirements for each institution before you apply. Remember that qualifying to practise afterwards depends on your home country's regulator.
Is an Indian medical degree recognised in my country?
Recognition is decided by the regulator in the country where you want to practise, and most require a licensing examination for internationally trained graduates. Rules differ and change. We point you to the official regulator guidance for your country and factor it into your university choice — we never promise recognition or licensure.
How much does NextHorizon charge?
Our consultancy fee depends on the services you need and is agreed with you in writing before any work begins. University tuition, application fees charged by institutions, visa fees and other third-party costs are always separate and — for tuition — paid directly to the university. Refund and cancellation terms are stated in your agreement.
What documents do I need to start?
To open your file we typically need your passport, secondary-school certificates and transcripts, and a passport photo. Degree applicants may also need additional certificates, and some programs ask for entrance tests or English evidence. Your advisor gives you a personal checklist once your target programs are chosen — download the pre-departure checklist above to see the full journey.
Can you guarantee my visa?
No — and no legitimate consultancy can. Visa decisions are made solely by the Indian mission in your country. What we do guarantee is a complete, correctly prepared application pack, honest timelines, and guidance based on the official requirements.
When should I apply?
Most Indian universities open their main intake in the first half of the year for classes starting mid-year, and scholarship deadlines close earlier than admission deadlines. Starting 6–9 months before your target intake gives you the widest choice of programs and funding.
